IrfanView is an image viewer capable of viewing just about any image format, including .psd files, Flash files, and even videos. Means you don't always have to load Photoshop just to check out a .psd file to see which one it is.

http://www.josh.biz/...thumbnails.html - learn how to display thumbnail icons of Photoshop files, a feature that hasn't been available with post-7.0 versions of Photoshop. It allows you to browse through files and folders using Windows Explorer and see thumbnails of .psd files just like you see for .jpg and other common image formats.
