Blending Images

One of the beauties of using Photoshop is it's capability to take two images and blend them into one. The most effective way to do so is to use layer masks.

Blending Using the Lasso Tool

See this Tutorial for detailed instructions of this technique.

1. Create a background
2. Paste in the object to be blended
3. Select the Lasso Tool with the Feather set to 15
4. Outline the image with the Lasso Tool
5. Click Control+Alt+I to select the inverse, hit delete a few times until you are satisfied with the effect.
