If you had your own personal band and were in total creative control, what would you call it? What would your first 12 song album be called, and what would be the song titles?

Mine would be:

Band name: Dehumanized
Genre: Heavy Metal
Debut album: Revelations
Track listing:

01. Feasting on Flesh
02. Anarchist
03. Machine of War
04. Under the Monolith
05. Let Us Prey
06. Rape the Ape
07. Bury Your God
08. Ascension
09. Nidus of Man
10. Father is a Necrophiliac
11. Cataclysm
12. Whole Worlds Die

I'd propably try to continue molding a genre of my own, like I did with my previous band. The basic idea would be that it'sprogressive rock relying on heavy jamming and open song structures in that the basics are there for the songs but it could still live a life of it's own based on the feeling on any given night. Generally progressive rock is highly polished, weird time signatures and showing off skills stuff, this would be rough and heavily rooted in blues, taking bits and pieces of other genres if it feels like a good idea at the time.

Previous band that I tried to do that with broke up (or should we say, went on an indefinite pause) due to both myself and our singer becoming parents. Now the singer is with another band entirely and so am I, with half of the guys from that band actually...

What we successfully did manage to combine was spacey psychedelic stuff, funk, rock, blues, old school metal and light jazz. What I'd like to do is make it flow even better from one style to another. The thing that makes it difficult is that with something like this, you really need to know the mindsets of the other guys in the band, and you need to be prepared to play anything. Then again I like the challenge so what the hell :)
