Well, there goes this idea then... want me to remove the background layer, seeing it doesn't work?

It should have worked, would have with my printer (actually, mine would have handled the originals fine as well). Try upping the opacity a bit more, or changing the background altogether I guess. However, those GNR covers I made didn't do this, did they? You never mentioned it then, but they were heavily reliant on gradients as well and there should have been lines on them too since you're having problems with these covers. I mean, I used basically the same type of layer style.

Try printing this and see if it has lines:

I tried and it printed without a problem.

It was my printer. I bought a Epson Stylus PhotoR265 printer today and these covers all print off fine. I also printed some of the other Black Crowes covers and they were fine also. Sorry guys, it was my old printer which was at fault.
My new printer prints covers directly onto cd's/dvd's. Do either of you know how to set it to print the label to fit the full cd front.

Sorry, I don't know about the Epson, as I am using my Canon at home for printing to CD/DVD...

Do you want me to get rid of the background pattern I used on that one cover now that you don't need it?
